Children with cancer

Childhood cancer is a very serious illness. Although science has come a long way in recent years, so that today manages to save 80 percent of the children who is diagnosed with cancer, then the disease still causing the most disease-related death among children ages 1 to 15 years.

At the same time, some of the children who survive cancer, live the rest of their lives with serious repercussions of the treatment they have received. Some will be sterile, others may have amputated limbs, and a few get so serious brain damage, that they will never be able to live a normal life.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

We want to help science further

Since 1995, the children's cancer Fund supported more than 250 research applications – including research projects that seek to tailor cancer treatment for each child in order to avoid side effects. The Fund has also funded four professorships in childhood cancer as the Foundation for the building of two strong, Danish research environments.

The children's cancer Foundation has only been able to do because the generous people support the Fund's work. SARI would like to help, and hope the modest contribution still finds its way to children with cancer and their families.

The last twenty years is the survival of Danish children thus rose by almost 20 percent, and children with the most common cancer diagnosis – acute leukemia (ALL) – has some of the best views in the world in order to survive.

But the need is far from the deck. As long as there are children who are dying of cancer, or get a hard life with lasting injuries after treatment, there is a need for help.

We hope that customers and partners also want to support the fight against childhood cancer.[/vc_column_text][us_separator type=”invisible”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner css=”.vc_custom_1479433424106{background-color: #fafafa !important;}”][vc_column_inner][us_separator type=”invisible”][vc_column_text]
